How to solve this error?
First, we need to identify the drive which was connected and which include your database file like media file.
it can be CD, Flash Drive or any External Drive etc. We just need to connect same drive on the computer and restart the RootsMagic program and the problem will be fix.
What if you are not able to find the same drive?
In many cases, we found customer external drive was corrupted. For example, you get nasty virus and it damages your CD data or an external file data. In these cases, you will not be able to recover your data. You should always keep back up of your RootsMagic tree data on a flash drive (full back up).
